Teaching Positions

Anticipated Openings 24-25 School Year

Jr. High Science Teacher

St. Joseph Regional Catholic School in Salem, NH is anticipating a full-time opening for a Jr. High (grades 6-7) Science and Religion teacher.   Qualified candidates must be at ease working with middle-school age students.  Applicants are to be practicing Catholics, and hold New Hampshire teaching certificate (or be eligible for certification) and ready to embrace our mission of motivating and challenging all students to reach their full potential in mind, spirit, heart and body.  This is a fantastic opportunity to share both your scientific knowledge and your faith with our students.  Our school is known for its welcoming and supportive environment.   Catholic school teaching is truly a worthy vocation; are you ready to answer the call?

All individuals who work with students will be required to complete Safe Haven Online Training as well as a criminal background check. Elementary Classroom Teachers

Qualified candidates should be acquainted with and at ease working with students at the primary and/or intermediary grade levels with a desire to work in a welcoming, warm, faith-filled environment.  Preferred applicants are practicing Catholics, and hold New Hampshire teaching certificate for elementary (or be eligible for certification) and ready to embrace our mission of motivating and challenging all students to reach their full potential in mind, spirit, heart and body.  Catholic school teaching is truly a worthy vocation; are you ready to answer the call?

Substitute Teachers

Substitute teachers are needed periodically throughout the year at all grade levels. Our substitute teachers, like everyone on our staff, are valued members of the St. Joseph Regional Catholic School community. This is a great opportunity for those who have a love of learning, believe in the value of a Catholic education and enjoy working with children. Preferred candidates should have a college education and/or experience working with children and the ability to follow and implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher. Preferred applicants are practicing Catholics.
